Summer Track

Joe signed up for Gold Medal Track Camp up at Lewis and Clark College.  He had some great coaches and got to spend a lot of time on his favorite events: javelin, shot-put, and especially the discuss.

It lasted all week from 9-3, and the sun came out enough one day to give him a nasty sun burn.  It went back to cloudy after that which he didn't mind at all.  He decided cool weather is perfect for a week of track.

Best of all, during the week he achieved some new personal best records.  (Thanks to Grandpa D for the pictures!)
