The Remus Lupins

That's right-we went to hear a Harry Potter band, the Remus Lupins (the name is taken from a character in the Harry Potter books). They are in Portland (from California) doing a bunch of concerts.

Joe looks a little serious in the picture, but had a GREAT time. He came home and the first thing he did was get his guitar out to play.

This show was just an acoustic set, usually they have a full band (drums, bass, etc).

Tim wasn't too interested so he went and played with Holly back in the shade and had fun.

Oceanside Vacation

We went to Oceanside (West of Tillamook) for a couple nights. We went exploring in caves, climbing rocks to look in tide pools, and created our own putt putt golf course. A great end of the school year trip. We posted some extra pictures in our Picasa album.

The Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school. The boys are now officially First and Fourth graders!
On the left are pictures from the first and last day of school. Joey didn't plan it, but he wore the same shirt.

CRAZY HAIR DAY!

Today was Crazy Hair Day at school and Tim was ready. It stayed up straight the whole day. He said we could do that every day, he wouldn't mind. At school both boys got to go to an ice cream party at the park. Their classes were book buddies for the year (the boys paired up) and Holly went too and snapped some pictures.

Our New Dog

Well, not our dog. We found it on the corner a couple blocks away running around in the street. It looks familiar but haven't found the owners yet. The boys have named it Buddy and it made itself completely at home (much to the boy's delight) by jumping up on Joey's bed. Tomorrow we'll put up some signs in the neighborhood and hopefully get it back home.

A quick update-Roscoe (formerly known as Buddy) went home about 14 hours after we found him. He lives two blocks away.

Play Ball

We went to Lewis School yesterday and played for a while. It kept sprinkling on us but the boys didn't mind as long as we kept throwing balls to them. -Steve

New Washer and Dryer

This is our new washer and dryer we got a couple weeks ago. Both front loaders so you get to watch the clothing swish around inside. Tim and Holly set up some chairs to catch all the action.
