When we were kids, whenever we'd do a picture of the family somewhere special (at the Arch in St. Louis or in front of the Christmas tree, etc.) we'd do one "normal" picture and then someone would shout "photo call!" which resulted in the best pictures ever. For some reason that family tradition faded away in Andy's and my teen-age years. . . . My sister and her husband were in town last week and we had a family dinner on Friday night which included the obligatory family photo op. We couldn't resist introducing the next generation to this Bullock family tradition.

ReplyDeletePhoto call was started when we went to that ocean park in San Jose area with a brass band that would do that as folks would take photos of them. Dad got it in his head and has used it ever since. I think you were Tim's age when that happened.
