We laughed at the neighbor this summer who told us he ran into a skunk in his garage. We're not laughing so much any more.Batsy confirmed there is still a skunk in the neighborhood. Every candle we could find in the house is lit and she is getting multiple baths after consulting several web sites for the best de-skunking shampoo recipe.
The worst part is we can't open the windows to get rid of the smell, since it stinks outside too. I thought the camera might pick up the stink radiating from her, but only here eyes are glowing.
I feel sorry for Batsy but this is one funny story. You did a great job of writing it up.

ReplyDeleteAccording to the websites, tomato juice just doesn't cut it. Turns out hydrogen peroxide (1 Qt), dawn liquid soap (1 tsp) and a 1/4 cup of baking soda works really well (only took 3 batches!). Plus, it's a cool chemical reaction!
