Steve did such an amazing reading last night!He was in prime storytelling form and the crowd (around 80 or so people) loved it - they laughed and laughed. Most of them will not think of a plastic swiss army knife toothpick or a fish hook the same. It was fun to see so many folks that have been a part of Steve's writing journey there to support him. After the readings, most of the crowd headed to Steve's instructor's house for a party - loads of wonderful conversation and positive accolades for Steve. A night to remember, that's for sure!

I was one VERY PROUD mother last night. It was a wonderful evening to hear the story and to see Steve get such a wonderful reception by the crowd. I don't know when I've laughed so much or so hard.
ReplyDeleteWow, glad is was a roaring success, we'll have to wait for our personal reading soon or at least a copy of the story. They say writing is a solitary pursuit, but you can get lots of great feedback too.
