Soon after the gnome moved into the front yard a Fairy Door appeared in our hallway. Tim wanted to know if I (and Holly) put it up.
I asked him, "If I did, can we still pretend it's real?"
He thought about it and said, "OK."
It was funny, he's isn't going to believe in it but is very willing to pretend.
Joey saw Holly buy it so wasn't fooled at all.
We're trying to guess what type of fairy it is. Tim thinks it's a brownie. Joe hasn't guessed yet. I suggested possible a pooka or sprite. We've ruled out any kind of goblin, hobgoblin, or boggart. The door looks too nice to belong to one of them.
Originally it was just gray plaster. Holly did the paint job on it and it looks SO much better. We're looking for some chairs or possibly a plant to add next to it-we'll keep everyone posted.

Those are two cute boys waiting and watching for the fairy to appear. I hope they get to see one.

Tim had his motion detector out this afternoon (waiting for people to arrive at Jacob's party). The motion detector went off a couple of times when no one was around. Tim looked at me with big eyes and said he figured a fairy was in the house if the motion detector was going off and we weren't any where near it. He finished it off with a "Hmmm!"
